After an intense round of pitching for five minutes in front of almost 300 industry members, followed by round table speed dating, battling a 4 week long cough and some kind of cold that left me looking worse for wear, I was surprised to receive the arteKino International Award and a cash prize of €6000 to further develop my script for 'Counting Cards'. I'm especially grateful for my TFL script consultant, Aleksandra Swierk, and Chi Thai, who helped me hone my pitch prior to arriving in Turin.
